Vikings host 3 notable prospects ahead of the NFL Draft

The Minnesota Vikings are heavy into the NFL Draft prep as they are continuing to host NFL Draft prospects as they get closer to the event. The league’s annual selection meeting is just 16 days away and the Vikings are set to host three notable prospects to work them out and get to know them better.

The three players who are set to visit are Georgia’s Benjamin Yurosek and Nazir Stackhouser and East Carolina’s Shavom Revel.

Yurosek is a blocking tight end with some receiving skills. He is an older senior, so he is what he is at this point, but he could be a part of the Vikings’ tight end rotation by filling the Johnny Mundty role that he vacated. Stackhouse is a potential day-three selection for the team and would be able to be a run stuffer in the middle of the defense.

As for Shavon Revel, he is very much in consideration for the 24th pick. Revel is one of the top cornerback prospects with good zone and man coverage abilities. He thrives in physical coverage and by being a reliable tackler in space.

Just three visits of many for the Vikings this draft season, but three that could be seen by us as fits.
