Fresh from unveiling her partnership with QVC for an exclusive apparel collection, actress, advocate and designer Jennie Garth has been revealed as Perricone MD’s new brand ambassador.
This partnership, too, will feature QVC. Starting in September, Garth will be representing the brand on QVC for key moments. She’ll also attend events and help educate consumers about the products.
Garth has been using Perricone MD since the 1990s, when makeup artists on shows she starred in like “Beverly Hills, 90210” taught her the importance of a good skin care routine. Now 52, Garth never skips her morning or evening skin care routine.
“I have worn so much makeup over the course of my life — way, way more than a person should — and I hate wearing makeup,” she said over Zoom from her home in Los Angeles. “It’s always been for me about skin care in the morning and skin care in the evening, without question, without fail and I teach my daughters that. They are so ahead of so many people out there, just because they have such access to this information that I was lucky enough to have access to.”
Among her favorite Perricone MD products are High Potency Retinol Recovery Overnight Moisturizer, starting at $25; Cold Plasma Plus+ The Intensive Gel Mask, $99, and Essential Fx Acyl Glutathione Chia Cleansing Balm, $55.
“We are honored to welcome Jennie Garth as Perricone MD’s strategic brand ambassador,” said Robert Koerner, president of Perricone MD, part of The Hut Group. “Jennie’s lifestyle and interests perfectly embody the Perricone MD holistic, Three-Tier Philosophy for healthy aging. She has been an active consumer of the brand for the past 20 years, making her the perfect partner to help us communicate our core belief that true beauty is radiant health. And Jennie has not only the trust from her community, who turn to her for authentic product recommendations and advice, she has a natural connection with our core 50-plus consumer target.”
Garth is not new to the QVC family and has had a seasonal home collection with her friend, Tori Spelling, called The BFF Collection by Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling, which launched in January 2023.
