Pamela Anderson joined a bevy of distinguished attendees for the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2024 in London on Tuesday. The event honored outstanding women from a variety of fields for their contributions to their particular discipline. Anderson is Glamour’s Global Woman of the Year.
For the occasion, Anderson opted for a sleek little black dress courtesy of Oscar de la Renta. The cocktail dress featured a sophisticated silhouette, with an off-the-shoulder neckline and draped skirt with a velvet ribbon.
Crafted from decadent stretch wool, the little black dress was a classic choice from the fall 2024 collection. Anderson previously wore another design by Oscar de la Renta at the 2024 Met Gala last May. The dress, which featured a fawn color, included a hand-pleated corseted bodice and gave Anderson the appearance of a “fairy in the forest,” Garcia said.
Throughout the last several months, Anderson has been on the press tour circuit promoting her forthcoming film “The Last Showgirl.” Anderson demonstrated her style versatility on several red carpets thus far, wearing a floral look by CH Carolina Herrera at the San Sebastian Film Festival and her own take on suited attire at the Toronto International Film Festival.
“I’m so happy for Pamela, because I feel like she really deserves it,” Gia Coppola, the director of “The Last Showgirl,” told WWD last September. “She’s such a wonderful, beautiful person inside and out. And, you know, I saw her documentary, and that really proved to me that she was the only person that could play this character. And I’m just so happy that she is getting to prove and show off her talents that were always within her, that I think the media always kind of diminished.”
“The Last Showgirl” stars Anderson as Shelley, whose life is thrown off course when the Las Vegas show she’s been part of for 30 years abruptly shuts down. The film hits theaters this fall.
