Pamela Anderson found inspiration in bright botanicals for her look at the “The Last Showgirl” photo call during the San Sebastián Film Festival in Spain on Friday. The actress and “Love, Pamela” author stars in the upcoming film directed by Gia Coppola.
For the occasion, Anderson wore a floral print crepe de chine A-line midi dress from CH by Carolina Herrera. The dress featured a loose fit with a multicolor floral print and a bow at the base of the V-neckline. It included long sleeves, pleats, buttoned cuffs and side pockets.
To keep the focus on her dress, Anderson opted for nude pointed-toe slingback heels to complete her look.
Anderson has been busy on the press tour for her film “The Last Showgirl,” which is screening at film festivals globally.
Anderson has been making the rounds during the press tour for her film “The Last Showgirl,” screening at film festivals across the globe. At the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 6, the “Baywatch” alum opted for deconstructed menswear with edgy, feminine twists.
The actress wore formfitting black trousers with a tailored jacket featuring dramatic lapels and elongated sleeves. She layered a sleek black blouse underneath. Anderson completed the look with pointed-toe heels.
“I’m so happy for Pamela, because I feel like she really deserves it,” filmmaker Coppola told WWD, regarding the praise Anderson has received for her performance in the film. “She’s such a wonderful, beautiful person inside and out. And, you know, I saw her documentary, and that really proved to me that she was the only person that could play this character. And I’m just so happy that she is getting to prove and show off her talents that were always within her, that I think the media always kind of diminished.”
“The Last Showgirl” follows Shelley (Anderson) who finds her life upended after the Las Vegas show she’s appeared in for 30 years suddenly comes to an end. The film will release this fall.
