Kerry Washington Embraces Lace in Slipdress, Olivia Wilde Goes Black and White and More Stars at Michael Kors Dinner Party

Stars including Olivia Wilde, Kerry Washington and Shailene Woodley celebrated the opening of Michael Kors‘ new Rodeo Drive boutique, attending a dinner at the iconic Canter’s Deli in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Kerry Washington

Washington, who was dressed by Kors at the 2023 Met Gala, paired a brown lace dress with a sequined sweater, which she wore off-the-shoulder. The “Scandal” star added on matching platform sandals.

Olivia Wilde

Wilde stepped out in a white tank top and black pleated trousers with layered belts, both by the American label. The actress and director accessorized with gold and diamond jewelry by EF Collection, including layered necklaces, rings and earrings. Stylist Karla Welch, who also counts Sarah Paulson and Greta Gerwig as clients, dressed Wilde for the occasion.

After monochrome hues had a major moment on the runways of Gucci, Chloé and Carven during their spring 2024 presentations, shades of black and white have made their way to the red carpet. Pared-down palettes were popular among attendees during awards season, with stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Carey Mulligan and Keri Russell embracing the trend at the Golden Globes and the Oscars.

Shailene Woodley

Woodley suited up in a khaki double-breasted blazer and matching wide-leg trousers, completing her look with a thin brown belt and black pumps.
