Jennifer Lopez Favors Sparkling Allure in Glittery Sheer Body-con Dress at 2024 IndieWire Honors

Jennifer Lopez shimmered from head to toe on the red carpet at the IndieWire Honors on Thursday in Los Angeles. The actress and singer accepted the Maverick Award at the event for her work in the forthcoming independent drama “Unstoppable.”

Lopez favored one of the hottest trends seen on the 2024 red carpet: sheer dressing. The “Hustlers” star wore a slinky, semi-sheer dress made of an all-over shimmering mesh fabric. The maxidress featured long sleeves and a high neckline.

Lopez’s look also created a liquid-like illusion as the fabric clung to the star’s frame. Lopez opted for minimal accessories for her look, favoring a pair of dainty metallic silver earrings to complement her glimmering dress.

When it came to her glam, Lopez’s hair was styled in a sleek, modern look. Her chestnut tresses cascaded down her back with soft waves, and her hair was pulled away from her face. Lopez’s makeup featured a glowing aesthetic, with bold smokey eyes and the “Jenny From the Block” singer’s signature nude lip.

Throughout her press tour for “Unstoppable,” Lopez has collaborated with stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn on various looks. For the film’s London premiere on Nov. 5, Lopez wore a body-con, white-hot sleeveless knit midi dress with a turtleneck by Magda Butrym.

While still in London, Lopez joined her “Unstoppable” cast members for a photocall on Nov. 7. The “Maid in Manhattan” star wore an ensemble entirely designed by Christian Dior, featuring a striking, crisp white, double-breasted coat that evoked early 2000s elegance with a contemporary structure.
