Jackets Road Woes Continue As Boston Shuts Out Columbus At TD Garden

The Jackets were held scoreless on Saturday night, and Daniil Tarasov could only stop 24 of 28 Bruins shots in a lop-sided 4-0 loss to Boston.

The only fight the CBJ brought to this game was a pair of fights by Mathieu Olivier. He fought Mark Kastelic in the first period and Nikita Zadorov in the third, and that would be all the Jackets brought to this game.

This game is what many would call a “burn the tape” game, as there was absolutely nothing to take out of this game other than giving Jeremy Swayman a shutout.

The Jackets are now 15-16-6 with 36 points and are 6th in the Metro. They’re also just two points shy of the second wildcard, even after an ugly loss like this one. The Columbus Blue Jackets are now 4-12-3 on the road this season.

Defenseman Dante Fabbro said after the game, “I thought moments of the game, we were good. Yesterday, we were taking care of pucks, and I think today we shot ourselves in the foot a little bit.”
