Gwen Stefani Gives Tartan a Punk Rock Edge in Vivienne Westwood With Blake Shelton at ‘The Fall Guy’ Red Carpet Premiere

Gwen Stefani joined the bevy of A-list stars who attended the red carpet premiere of “The Fall Guy,” starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, on Tuesday night. The singer was joined by her husband of nearly three years, Blake Shelton, and posed for photos on the red carpet at the Los Angeles event.

For the premiere, Stefani fashioned a look courtesy of Vivienne Westwood. Stefani’s ensemble featured the Vivienne Westwood drunken tailored jacket and mini kilt in green and black linen tartan. The singer completed the punk rock look with the black velvet platform boots from the Vivienne Westwood fall 2024 collection. She also wore mesh fishnet tights to give her look an extra edge.

Stefani has long subscribed to the punk rock aesthetic and showed off her proclivity for the style while at Coachella 2024. While performing with her band No Doubt during the first weekend of the festival, the singer wore a custom look by costume designer Ashton Michael, which featured a coordinated bra top and wide-leg pants set with colorful plaid prints.

Stefani followed up her look with another similarly designed ensemble for the second weekend of Coachella. During her April 20 performance, Stefani wore two custom plaid looks over a full mesh catsuit.

The first look featured an embellished Roberto Cavalli bodysuit paired with a contrasting color-blocked notch lapel blazer. The singer also wore a kilted belt, which featured embellished jaguar heads. She completed the ensemble with knee-high black leather boots, which were covered in crystals.

Stefani later changed into a plaid bralette, shrug and kilt miniskirt. Her second look was curated by Ashton Michael, who created the first look Stefani wore for the first weekend of the music festival.

Since she arrived on the scene, Stefani has played with edgy, punk rock fashion. Her latest look in Vivienne Westwood is the perfect example of the singer’s approach to fashion and her style sensibility.
