Omega has been the official timekeeper for the Olympics for decades. On July 29 the Swiss luxury watch manufacturer held the red carpet “Her Time” event in Paris, featuring longtime global ambassador for the brand, Nicole Kidman, and coinciding with the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics.

“Timing the Olympic and Paralympic Games is a task that requires great quality and attention to detail. I’m proud that we’re able to reflect that same value in our women’s watchmaking and make a celebration of it here in Paris — the city of fashion,” Raynald Aeschlimann, Omega’s president and chief executive officer, said in a statement for the event.

Among her growing list of endorsements, sponsors and collaborations, Thomas appeared in the latest Skims and Team USA campaign.

During SXSW’s The Wear House event, Thomas spoke with Footwear News about her mental approach to her athletic discipline. “For me, it’s keeping everything in perspective,” said Thomas. “I love what I do and I can only control what I can control and there’s a peace and understanding in knowing that.”

Thomas previously won the Olympic silver medal in the women’s 4×100-meter relay and the Olympic bronze medal in the 200-meter final at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
