The cast and creative team behind “Queer” came together for the A24 film’s premiere on Wednesday in Los Angeles. The film’s A-list cast and special guests attended the red carpet event, turning to the same designer for their respective looks.
Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of Loewe since September 2013, collaborated with filmmaker Luca Guadagnino on costumes for the film, just as he had on Guadagnino’s previous film “Challengers” starring Zendaya.
Ahead, see how the stars of “Queer” and more styled their Loewe looks.
Daniel Craig
Daniel Craig looked to the runway for his style inspiration for the “Queer” Los Angeles premiere. The actor wore a look from the Spanish luxury fashion house’s men’s fall 2024 collection, accessorizing with the Flow Runner shoes and Groove Round sunglasses. Craig received styling courtesy of Taylor McNeil.
Ariana Greenblatt
Ariana Greenblatt also looked to the runway for her look at the Wednesday night premiere. The “Barbie” actress wore a short jacket and coordinated wool trousers with oversize silhouettes from Loewe’s women’s fall 2024 collection for the red carpet event.
Drew Starkey
Drew Starkey received a custom look from Loewe for the Los Angeles premiere. The “Queer” star wore a streamlined black suit with full monochrome — including wide-leg trousers, jacket with sharp lapels and shirt. Starkey received styling courtesy of Warren Alfie Baker.
Luca Guadagnino
Luca Guadagnino also wore a custom Loewe suit for the Los Angeles premiere. The “Queer” and “Challengers” filmmaker wore a double-breasted suit with a satin shirt and Campo Derby shoes from the Spanish luxury fashion house.
Jonathan Anderson
Jonathan Anderson also attended the premiere. Loewe’s creative director opted for color contrast, wearing a black suit with a blue shirt. He coordinated the look with black patent-leather shoes.
“Queer” tells the story of William Lee, who becomes infatuated with recently discharged serviceman Eugene Allerton in 1950s Mexico City. The film is based on William S. Burroughs’ novella of the same name. “Queer” hits theaters Nov. 27.
