Coco Jones attended the 2025 Grammy Awards red carpet on Sunday in Los Angeles, wearing a fuschia rose cutout gown custom-designed by Defaïence. The ensemble’s top featured a mermaid-like one-shouldered bodice with a statement gold clasp near the shoulder. Another strap wrapped diagonally across her mid-drift, displaying another gold clasp. The third matching gold clasp sat at the top of the dress’ high slit on the right side, and the skirt flowed down into a train.
Jones accessorized with large gold earrings and jewelry and pale-pink stiletto nails. Her red-streaked black hair was worn with a middle part and waves cascading down her back. And she wore pink strappy stilettos that matched her dress.
Defaïence, an Italian jewelry and fashion brand founded by Nicola Bacchilega in 2021, is known for its avant-garde collections influenced by Bacchilega’s background in ceramic sculpture.
In 2023, Megan Thee Stallion wore a Defaïence floor-length cobalt blue gown to the CMT Music Awards red carpet. It also featured a buckle clasping a strategic cutout on Stallion’s left hip that was similar to Jones’ Grammy look.
In 2023, Anitta wore oversized Defaïence Creoles hoop earrings to Spotify’s 2023 Best New Artist Party in Hollywood.
For this year’s Grammys, Jones was nominated for Best R&B Song of the Year and Best R&B Performance for “Here We Go (Uh Oh).” She won her first Grammy in 2024 for Best R&B Performance for “ICU,” a single from her debut album, “What I Didn’t Tell You.”
The 67th Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, celebrated the best in music and raised funds for wildfire relief efforts in California and honoring first responders. Beyoncé led the nominations with a record-breaking 11 nods. Other top nominees included Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift.
