Ashley Graham Revives the Mob Wife Trend in Leopard Print Midi Dress and Cat-eye Shades, Talks ‘Side Hustlers’ on ‘CBS Mornings’

Ashley Graham modeled one of fall’s hottest prints on Monday for an appearance on “CBS Mornings.” Alongside Skims cofounder Emma Grede, she promoted the second season of their Roku reality competition series “Side Hustlers,” out now, which gives female entrepreneurs chance to build multimillion-dollar companies.

Graham selected a long-sleeved leopard print midi dress, pairing it with cat-eye frames, hoop earrings and gold open-toe heels.

The supermodel channeled key elements of the “mob wife” trend that took social media and runways by storm earlier this year, with Jil Sander, Acne Studios and Michael Kors debuting furry outerwear during their fall 2024 presentations. The viral aesthetic takes fashion cues from gangster girlfriends like “Casino’s” Ginger McKenna and Adriana La Cerva of “The Sopranos.”

Sitting down with hosts Tony Dokoupil, Gayle King and Nate Burleson, Grede and Graham discussed the importance of female entrepreneurship.

“Season one felt like such an inspiration to people that were starting their businesses or thinking about starting their businesses,” Graham said. “Then you see how many women are actually doing it and you feel so empowered. We’re saying, ‘If she can do it, I can do it.’”

“We follow these entrepreneurs for weeks and weeks so you really get under the hood of their businesses,” Grede added. “You understand their problems, their trials, their tribulations. It really shows you the real ups and downs so I think a lot of people, including small business owners, got a lot out of the show.”

Grede also serves as the chief executive officer of Khloe Kardashian’s apparel brand Good American, and she’s been named one of Forbes’ richest self-made women.

The duo later made their way over to NBC’s “Today,” with Graham changing into a purple smocked shift with a ruffled hemline. The Saint Tropez ambassador completed her second look with maroon peep-toe heels.
