Erie Otters forward Pano Fimis has committed to Notre Dame, it was announced earlier this week.
Fimis, the second overall pick in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, has spent parts of the past three seasons playing for the Otters. In 30 games this year, he has scored 11 goals and added 26 assists for 37 points.
A product of Richmond Hill, Ont., Fimis began his career with the Niagara IceDogs before heading to the Otters. Over 207 career OHL regular season games, he has put up 66 goals and 204 points.
With Fimis committing to join the Fighting Irish, he will join fellow OHLer Caeden Carlisle in the blue and gold next year. A skilled forward who makes those around him better, Fimis will be one to watch as his commences his NCAA career in 2025.
